Privacy Policy

Tarifo is a fare estimator published by SEVENLABS P.S.A. (“we”). This policy explains what the app does with information, which is very little, and what happens when you contact us or visit this website.

What the app stores, and where

Tarifo keeps the following in its own storage on your iPhone so it can work. None of it is sent to us, and none of it is written to iCloud.

• Tariffs. The prices and settings you enter: name, currency, distance unit, base fare, rates, minimum fare, rounding, extras and charging mode.
• Trips. For each finished trip: start and end time, the tariff used, distance, duration, waiting time, the fare breakdown, extras, any note you add, and the route as a series of GPS points. You can stop new trips from being saved by turning off Settings → Save Trips to History.
• The trip in progress. While a trip is running, Tarifo regularly saves its state (tariff, measured values, extras and route so far) to a small file on the device, so the trip can be restored if iOS closes the app. The file is deleted when the trip ends.
• Settings. Your choices such as Keep Screen On, Live Activity and Save Trips to History, and whether you have acknowledged the in-app legal notice.

Tarifo does not sync with iCloud. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, iOS includes app data in that backup, as it does for most apps. That backup belongs to your Apple Account or your computer, and we cannot read it.

Location

Tarifo asks for location access (“While Using the App”, with Precise Location) when you start your first trip. It uses location only while a trip is running, to measure distance, time, waiting time and speed, and to draw the route. Measuring continues when the app is in the background, and iOS shows a location indicator while it does. When the trip ends, location updates stop.

The route and measured values are saved with the trip on your device as described above. Tarifo never sends your location to us or to anyone else. The one exception is Fare Quote, below, where calculating a route requires Apple Maps.

Who your device talks to

Tarifo has no server of its own. The only outside service it uses is Apple’s:

• Apple Maps. When you search for a destination in Fare Quote, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to suggest places, and your current location is sent as the starting point so Apple Maps can calculate a driving route. Maps shown in the app (the route of a trip or a quote) are loaded from Apple Maps. Apple’s privacy policy governs these services. Entering the distance and minutes manually in Fare Quote sends nothing.
• App analytics shared by Apple. If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may show us anonymised crash reports and aggregated usage statistics for Tarifo. These do not identify you and contain no trips, locations or prices.

There is no other destination. When you share a trip image or export your history as CSV, the file goes only where you send it through the iOS share sheet.

When you contact us

If you email biuro@sevenlabs.pl, we receive your email address, what you write and anything you attach. We use it only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, then delete it. We do not add you to any list.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no scripts, analytics or tracking of any kind. It is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure sees your IP address and the pages you request, as any web host does, and keeps short-lived access logs for security and operations.

Children

Tarifo is not directed at children. We knowingly collect no data from anyone, children included.

Retention and deletion

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. What the app stores is under your control:

• Delete a single trip from History, or all of them with Settings → Delete All Trips.
• Delete a tariff from the tariff list. Trips already measured with it keep their fares.
• Deleting the app removes everything it stored: tariffs, trips, routes and settings.
• Copies in your iPhone backups or in files you exported are managed by you, through your Apple Account settings or wherever you saved them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO). Since the only personal data we ever hold is the email you send us, exercising these rights usually means asking us to delete that correspondence, which we will do.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date. We will not start collecting data without changing this policy first.
